Importance of a Good Baseline Schedule
|
Good
and timely Baseline Schedules are extremely important to a successful
construction project. The acceptance of a Baseline Schedule legally
constitutes an amendment to the basic contract. It is possible to wave
contractual requirements just by allowing items in the Baseline Schedule that
contradict what is specified in other documents. On the other hand, the
Spirit of Partnering requires that you not arbitrarily reject a schedule just
because of minor, inconsequential deviations from the specifications.
